O-I Makes Special Bottle For Extra Special Whisky

O-I has developed a bottle for Bell's Extra Special Blended Scotch whisky from Diageo. Bloom Design created the concept to include a bell shape in the neck of the bottle to emphasise the time and care involved in creating the blended whisky. The new look is inspired by Bell's decanters, introduced in the 1930s, which have since become collectors' items. On the rear of the bottle is the brand slogan, "Afore ye go" which has been used since 1925. Product credentials are further highlighted by the engraving of "Established since 1825" on the glass. O-I is making four sizes of 700ml, 750ml, 1-litre and 1.5 litres at its Alloa plant in Scotland.
