Italian olive oil producer Basso has commissioned leading glass packaging manufacturer O-I to develop an elegant, ergonomic glass bottle to package its exquisite, high quality extra virgin olive oil. The bottle has also been designed with cooking and pouring in mind, and features an ergonomic, oval-shaped indent along two sides to make it easier & safer to grip. The rectangular shape of the bottle is both elegant & functional. facilitating its display on supermarket shelves or in the kitchen where space is often limited. The front and back sides of the bottle have been designed with a well-defined area, enabling easier labelling, while the upper part of the bottle, where the neck joins the body, features the embossed Basso logo, in the shape of an ancient scroll.
