No Frills For Redhook

Celebrating its 30th birthday recently, leading US craft brewer Redhook is unveiling a new look for its bottles, labels, crowns and packaging. The brand names are also being rationalised to simply Redhook and the style so that Ropeswing becomes Redhook Pilsner. The traditional, long-necks are being replaced with shorter, wider glass bottles more resembling the first bottles the brewery filled back in 1981. The new look is apparently all part of Redhook's effort to get back to its roots and provide "easy to spot" packaging with each brand in a distinctive colour with a beer-o-meter on the outer packaging showing whether the contents are refreshing, smooth, bold or dark. The crowns show images of the last 30 years at Redhook.
