New Protection For Pm2000

Johnson Matthey Noble Metals have patented a new technology for protecting PM2000, a Fe-Cr based ODS super alloy manufactured by Plansee. This is intended as an alternative to complex molybdenum cored Pt clad stirrers, and can be used at operating temperatures up to 1300 deg C. The PM2000 eliminates the need to encapsulate and evacuate the core to prevent oxidation at temperature.
