Martin Jetter is to become president of machinery supplier Emhart Glass from next January. He will replace Dr Kurt Siegenthaler, who is to retire. Mr Jetter is CE of Jetter AG, an automation and control systems specialist in which Emhart Glass' parent company, Bucher Industries holds a 20% stake. Mr Jetter is 48 and holds a master's degree in electrical engineering. He founded Jetter AG in 1980 and developed it steadily as a specialist in motive power and control engineering. In the first 9 months of 2004-5, Jetter AG registered 16M Euros in sales. It has 126 employees. Emhart Glass has a strong technological partnership with Jetter since 2002. This cooperation resulted in a major advancement of Emhart's forming machinery equipped with servo electric drives. Mr Jetter will join Emhart in the summer.
