New Planning Application For Quinn'S Uk Site

Quinn Glass has made a fresh application for planning permission for its Elton plant. The previous application was refused permission by the UK government over a year ago. The company has introduced a travel plan to help staff get to the site and planned a second connection to the rail network and will continue to assess the need for better soundproofing. Local residents have expressed concerns about the facility, and this new applications seeks to address concerns raised by a public inquiry into the Elton facility. The application will be examined and submitted later in the year for approval by the council's planning board.
