New Material Available For Lehr Bar Applications

Dura Temp Corp., has introduced a new material for lehr bar applications. DT-10A, is a carbon fibre reinforced carbon substance that can withstand continuous temperatures up to 650 deg C. This material is made from compressed sheets of woven carbon fibres and carbon, making it extremely durable. It can survive the most problematic crashes and jam-ups and during in-plant trials, the material was tested as lehr bar triangles.
