New Look For Hobgoblin Ale

United Glass has developed new 500ml packaging for Wychwood Brewery's Hobgoblin ale in a drive to push the brand into the top three bottled ales in the UK. Wychwood Brewery worked closely with designers in the CAD design suite at UG to create the curved, clear glass bottle, which departs from the square shouldered, shorter bottles that tend to dominate the ale sector of the beverage market. Its curvaceous profile and elongated neck give the bottle a significant height advantage on the shelf. The brand's menacing mascot is embossed on the shoulder, above the brewer's name. The bottle sports a new cap, neck label and body label, with a fresh illustration of the mascot. The new packaging is supported by a £100,000 marketing campaign. (whole item)
