New Look For Antiquary

Owned by The Tomatin Distillery Co, the premium blended scotch whisky range, Antiquary, has a revised multi-faceted glass bottle made by O-I in Alloa. The premium brand comes in three variants - a standard blend, a 12 year old and a super-premium (21 year old) - which are all marketed in the recent development. Initial sales of 70 and 75cl sizes have been successful and O0I is now developing a one litre bottle for the brand. The glass developed by O-I features a large diamond-shaped label panel, which is highlighted by triangular panels. The overall effect echoes a sparkling diamond which illustrates the brand's claim to be a "cut above" due to the high proportion of malt whiskies contained in its blended recipes. The container also features a long cylindrical neck, allowing for a particularly deep, golden pilfer-proof closure.
