New Glass Type For Pharma

A new type of moulded pharmaceutical glass, Type 3, has been introduced by Gerresheimer, made in its former Glass Group Inc plant in the US state of New Jersey. The company also produces Type 1 moulded glass in its New Jersey and Illinois plants, which are operated by its subsidiary, Kimble. Its offerings for pharmaceutical companies and laboratories also include ampoules, cartridges, tubes and dispensing bottles. Gerresheimer has also invested in its plastics products for the pharmaceutical markets by creating a new business unit to offer clients a full range of pharmaceutical plastic containers. It also supplies aluminium containers.
