New Glass For Smartphones

Schott has launched Xensation Cover glass for the mobile device market. According to the company, it is the world's strongest alumino-silicate glass and offers resistance to breakage and scratches, making it ideal for touch screen devices. Tests showed the glass is able to reach compressive stress values, greater than comparable materials on the market. Such values result in a 20% higher bending strength.
