AGR International has added the CentriScan measurement gauge to its family of measurement products. This gauge provides vision-based, high-precision thickness and true diameter measurement of transparent cylindrical objects, performing 360 degree sidewall measurements in 2 degree increments around the circumference of the object in less than 15 seconds. Thickness measurements at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees are displayed on the operator screen along with a polar plot for thickness and diameter. The CentriScan gauge provides minimum, maximum and average thickness and minimum, maximum and average diameter. The unit can also be set up to report Total Indicated Run Out or concentricity or Out of Round. Other features include an adjustable measurement location, highly repeatable measurement results, a measurement data archive & CSV output.
