New Contact Material

Pyromeral Systems has introduced a new hot glass contact material for the transport of hollow wares. The product is called Tactylit and is designed to handle products at temperatures reachover over 500 deg C. The firm claim its product is non-flammable, free from oxidation and resistant to thermal shock. It is also said to have good resistance to grease and lubricants, and not to mark the glass it carries. A range of materials is available to suit takeout inserts, dead plates, sweepout inserts, transfers, stacker bars, annealing plates and other applications.
