New Bottling Line At Wye Valley

Herefordshire's Wye Valley has officially opened a new bottling plant on its site at Stoke Lacy. The brewery began in 1985 by Peter Amor and moved to the current plant which had been occupied by Symonds Cider in 2002. Cask beer remains its main focus, but bottled versions are gaining popularity, so in true "grain to glass" fashion, packaging has now been brought back in-house. It is estimated that the line cost around half a million pounds. Output is 2400 bottles/hour and Wye Valley is offering a contract service to other brewers.
