[New Book] Glass Defects Published

After two years of preparation, the English version of Glass Defects has been published by Czech firm, Glass Service. The book was written by experts in the Czech Republic on the topic of glass defects. After the success of the Czech version, Glass Service acquired publishing rights and has now announced that the English version is available for the international glass community. The book is concerned with defects that infringe upon the basic characteristics of glass as a homogeneous material with a non-crystalline structure. For this reason it deals with crystalline inclusions such as stones, cords and layers as well as gaseous inhomogeneties such as bubbles. Glass Defects can be ordered online at www.gsl.cz.
