New Beer From Carlsberg

Carlsberg seems not to be concerned about the economic downturn and has launched a limited edition beer costing 250 Euros per bottle. Only 600 bottles of Vintage No 2, brewed in the Jacobsen Brew House in Copenhagen, have been released for sale at high-end restaurants and to connoisseurs around the wold. Each Vintage green glass bottle is labelled with one of five hand-stencilled lithographic prints by Chilean-born artist Marco Evaristti. The black Baltic Porter uses Scottish peated malt and was matured in a French Cote d'Or oak cask for 100 days. Vintage No 3 is set to be released in 2010.
