New Applications For Anti-Reflective Glass

Swiss Glas Trosch AG, the designer, manufacturer and marketer of optical thin film coatings, has introduced new processing applications for its anti-relfective coated glass, Luxar. The firm says that both flat and bent coated glass can now be processed thanks to thermal tempering, which is carried out after the coating has been applied. The glass can be coated on a single side or on both sides, depending on requirements. Tempered bent glass has been tested in thicknesses of 4 and 6mm. Luxar glass can also be bent, annealed and processed to form bent laminated glass; bent annealed and laminated Luxar is currently available in thicknesses from 4 to 6 mm. Anti reflective, coated insulating glass can also be produced. (whole item)
