Netherlands Recycling Successes

The Netherlands are far ahead of the EU average as far as the breakdown and recycling of material is concerned, with the exception of plastics. In fact, 80.5% of glass is recycled. The Second Packaging Covenant between the Dutch government and industry is aiming at 65% of the total volume of packaging materials to be recovered, and 15% to 45% to be reused. (whole item)
