[Namibia] Tses Glas Aims For New Factory Site

Glass manufacturing company Tses Glass (Pty) Ltd, Namibia, has appointed German-based GHS/Glass GmbH as the engineering, procurement and construction management firm for its planned Tses Glass Manufacturing Plant in Tses, Southern Namibia. The company plans to have all four separate manufacturing plants in a single location which will constitute: 7M/tpa flat glass; 7M/tpa container glass; 1M/tpa fiber glass and 5M/tpa ultra-thin glass, making a gross annual total of 20M net ton capacity, making it the largest dynamic glass manufacturing plant in the world, according to reports. GHS/Glass BmbH, is specialised in planning, construction and commissioning of large-scale glass factories, will work as leading Technical Consultant for Tses Glass in tangent with South Africa-based IBP Construction Consultants (Johannesburg) Pty Ltd, as well as Germany's Siemens AG, and French-based BNP Paribas for the development and providing elaborate services ranging from conducting a bankable feasibility study, technical concept, system design, engineering, economic and market study, procurement and construction management.
