Bulgarian thermal insulation company, Lubisol Engineering Co, based in Sofia, is now offering a new improved version of its monolithic crown insulation package. Lubisol crown insulation, says the company, has been applied on many new glass furnace silica crowns, designed by leading companies in the US, western Europe and Japan since 1998. According to the company, the most important advantage of Lubisol crown insulation is its low specific weight and high efficiency, due to the very low thermal conductivity of the materials used, which result in fuel savings, without imposing a heavy burden over the furnace crown. Lubisol affirms that there is no subsidence or cracking of the insulation for a period of 12 years, giving very efficient lightweight crown insulation with a smooth and strong surface.
