Prices for molybdenum are expected to remain around $6/pound until there is a big revival in the copper market, says the consultancy Roskill. Molybdenum is a co-product of copper extraction. Several mines in China have closed temporarily, following an EU anti-dumping duty placed on Chinese ferro-molybdenum.
