Molson Coors Sets Up Dead Brewers Brand

Molson Coors looks set to launch a brand called Dead Brewers Society. The brewing giant, which owns Coors Light, Carling and Staropramen, has applied to register the name as a trademark with the IPO. It applied for class 32, 33 and 43 trademarks, which cover beer, alcoholic beverages (except beer) and catering services such as restaurants and bars respectively. In June 2017 the brewer bought the web domain deadbrewerssociety.co.uk, though the site is currently empty. Twitter account @deadbrewers, whose bio reads "brewing beers forgotten for years", carries a link to the domain.
