Modern Glass Making Materials - "Unibar" - Barium Sulphate

Barium sulphate is extensively used in the US container industry as a substitute for saltcake. The higher the melting temperature the more desirable it is to use barium. Unibar barium sulphate is now obtainable in the UK and a typical chemical analysis is given.
