Glaverbel (UK) Ltd recently introduced Mirox New Generation Ecological Mirror (MNGE), which eliminates copper plating, the traditional method of protecting the silver coating. The protective paint is also lead-free. MNGE is compatible with a wide range of adhesives - important to mirror processors and furniture makers, and it also has exceptional resistance to chemical corrosion, including that triggered by household cleaners, hairsprays and deodorants. Resistance to edge corrosion, rusting and pitting is estimated at three times that of conventional mirrors. (whole item)
