Mintel Launches The Packaging Appreciation Club

The way in which an item is packaged has now become just as important as the product within. In response to this trend, Mintel Research Consultancy UK has founded the "Packaging Appreciation Club" (PAC), to enable companies to keep up-to-date with the latest packaging innovation designs. Members of the club will be provided with 10 new innovative product samples from around the world every 3m. They will also be sent a brief presentation detailing why the products were selected & how the innovative design could be modified for different categories & markets. The club was launched in response to customer requests for samples of innovative new packaging formats made from novel new materials. The company selects the products from its inhouse Global New Products Database (GNPD), which holds details of innovative new consumer packaging products from around the world.
