[Mexico] Vitro Increases Furnace Capacity In Queretaro

Vitro SAB de CV has announced that with an investment of US$ 50M to carry out major maintenance works on one of its furnaces in the Vidriera Queretaro Plant, it was able to convert the furnace into the largest of its kind in Latin America and to increase its container production capacity by 9%. Capacity of the plant is over 500/tpd. In the last 3 years alone, the company has invested US$ 120M have been invested to make major repairs on three furnaces to increase capacity and lengthen its life. Total production capacity for all furnaces is around 700/tpd.
