Tomintoul distillery (Scotland) has made it into the Guinness Book of Records with the world's largest whisky bottle weighing in at 164kg and containing the equivalent of 150 standard bottles. It was filled by hand during the summer with 205 litres of the 14 year old whisky, and stands 1.44m tall. The bottle is made of 7mm thick Pyrex glass, which was made in Germany. The bottle will be on permanent display at the Clockhouse Restaurant in the village square at Tomintoul.
