Meeting Addresses Container Clousure Design

Glass Technology Services (Glass Technology Services) held a successful conference to disseminate and discuss issues related to the design of threaded closures on glass containers. This DTI and glass industry co-sponsored project has provided new insights into some age old industry problems. The gathering of over 50 representatives from all ares of the supply chain, including glass makers, fillers, cap supplies and retailers heard a number of prominent speakers highlight the benefits of the work done so far and press for a more inclusive and holistic approach to thread design.
