Measuring Mould Volumes

French company, Sonicam, has added a device for measuring the volume of moulds to its existing range of equipment. The S3 gauging machine, developed by Sonicam, patented by BSN and jointly commercialised by BSN-MSC and Sonicam, is designed to monitor the lifetime of moulds and to ensure maximum use. Operators will be able to decide more easily whether a mould should be reused with the original series or reused at a later stage with other damaged moulds.
