The Measurement Of Faint Colours In Glass

A current survey in 8 laboratories has shown that good agreement in the measurement of faintly coloured glass can be obtained between different laboratories using different instruments. Spectrophotometers have been successfully used to distinguish between similar samples through 7mm path lengths.
