Marston'S Emerging Force

In 1991, Burton-based brewery Marston, Thompson & Evershed Plc, instigated a major feasibility study to fully assess the condition and efficiency of its existing bottling operation. All engineering aspects of the feasibility were considered by Marston's chief engineer, with the assistance of local project management company Elson Projects Ltd. The old line, after 17 years of sterling service was becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, with some spare parts being impossible to source.
