[Markets] Finland One Of The Leading Countries For Light Drinks

It is estimated that per capita annual consumption in Finland is 620 litres. About a quarter of this amount is accounted for by beverages made by the brewing and soft drinks industry: beers, ciders, long drinks, soft drinks, bottled waters or speciality drinks. Sales for the market in Finland are quite stable. In 2008, sales of beverages saw growth of 0.4% compared with the previous year. However, sales of functional and new kings of health drinks are surging all over the world. Light drinks are claiming market share from traditional soft drinks and it is forecast that consumption of bottle waters will overtake soft drinks in the next few years.
