Mandatory Nutrition Labelling Impact Assessment

The EC has published an impact assessment study on the introduction of mandatory nutrition labelling in the EU, focussed on the potential impact of the introduction of mandatory nutrition labelling for pre-packaged food products across the EU. Work has been divided into three areas: Impact of mandatory nutrition labelling on consumers; Impact of mandatory nutrition labelling on the food industry; & Impact of mandatory nutrition labelling on control authorities who have the responsibility for enforcing legislation.
