[Malaysia] Rising Oil Costs Cause Problems

Record high oil prices are providing businesses with an added incentive to switch to natural gas for energy. "The increase in oil prices helps make people switch to gas a lot faster," Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer said. At present, Gas Malaysia has 322 industrial customers. In addition to being a cleaner source, natural gas is the cheapest compared with liquified petroleum gas, diesel and medium fuel oil.
