Machines For The Heat Processing Of Glass Articles

Lowinger has been developing and building fully and semi-automatic machines for the technical heat processing of glass tubes for more than 55 years. These are horizontal and vertical glass processing machines. The new drives set the standards for the quantity and quality of the glass articles processed on Lowinger machines. The over-stroke control system of the step-back system and the king pin system for the shaping tools have been taken over by latest generation server motors. They are integrated in the basic machine frame to be able to take up dynamic loads up to 3kW throughout the base frame. In this way very fast cycle times are achieved on these glass processing machines. Since the over-stroke speed from one processing position to another is very fast and dynamic the glass uses very little heat energy.
