GSK has launched its new "retro" bottle for Lucozade Energy, and has chosen a 330ml glass container produced by Rockware Glass to create a premium feel particularly suited to the on trade. The bottle is sleeved online by Rockware with three Fuji shrink sleeve variants to identify the three Lucozade flavours: Original, Citrus, Clear and Orange. The design was handled by Seachange. For Rockware, it marks a return to glass for a brand with which it has enjoyed a long association over most of the product's 75-year history. During this time it has evolved from a convalescent drink to become an everyday refreshing energy provider. By regaining its quirky personality and staying true to its product promise, Lucozade Energy has developed a loyal following and has enjoyed growing success in both the multiple and impulse sectors.
