Lr Crystal Increases Profit

Slovakian glass producer, LR Crystal, of Lednicke Rovne, ended 1999 with a profit of Kcs 24.58m, compared with Kcs 805,000 reported in 1998. Output exceeded Kcs 998m, which is an increase of Kcs 91m from 1999. Sales were at Kcs 901.5m, up Kcs 94m year on year, according to official figures released by the company. The company reported profit from current operations of Kcs 24.7m, and losses from financial operations accounted for Kcs 18.7m. In late December 1999, total assets of the company were at Kcs 1.24bn, up Kcs 215m year on year.
