Long-Established Inks Supplier Looks To A Bright Future

This article takes a look at the latest developments from German-based Ruco Druckfarben. The firm originated in 1857 when a printing ink production facility was set up at Eppstein near Frankfurt. The main customer at that time was the US government, which needed the inks to print dollar bills and bonds. RUCO's product range today comprises a vast number of printing inks for all kinds of applications. Everyday articles are decorated with RUCO inks, from magazines and catalogues to food pots, cleaning products and toys and CDs. RUCO began to produce UV printing inks in 1982 and introduced a series for glass decoration as a dual cure system in 2001.
