Lineapiu Signs Accord With Swarovski

The Lineapiu group of Capalle, near Florence, Italy, has reportedly signed an agreement with Swarovski for the production of a yarn enriched by crystal beads. The deal is expected to bring in turnover of ItL 5-6bn, the report said, while the Italian group is also considering listing on the stock exchange. In 1999, Lineapiu expects revenues to be in line with last year's figure of ItL 285bn, plus another ItL 20-25bn from two of its other companies. (whole item)
