Lighter-Weight Flint Bottle Produced

United Glass has created a new 500ml embossed bottle for the Maclay range of premium bottled beers. The white flint bottle is 45g lighter than the amber container previously used for Maclay's Wallace, Gold, 80 Shilling, Honey Weizen stout and Thrapple Quencher stout brands. It also enables Maclay's customers to see the colour of their ale. Special features include the Maclay embossed thistle and the Thistle Brewery name on the shoulder of the bottle.
