Lg Philips Continues Crt Innovation

LG-Philips Displays, continues to innovate in cathode ray tubes with a new shallower profile glass envelope for its latest slimline high performance colour TV tube. The new tube, called Cybertube+SuperSlim, offers a 32" wide screen tube that is 30% shallower than normal. It is 35cm deep, the same depth as LG-Philips new SuperSlim 21" "real flat" tube. The slimmer tubes will cut television makers packaging and transport costs. LG-Philips said 96% of the world's TV tube market was taken by CRTs in 2002.
