Learning The Eu Lessons

With the spotlight on Bulgaria and Romania as new members of the EU, this article takes a look at how some of the key countries that joined in 2004 are faring, to see what might be on the agenda for the two new member states. A table of market sizes by volume for wines, together with percentage growth is given for Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania. Production of spirits in Bulgaria is also presented.
