Lauscha Fibre To Launch Russian Plant

Germany's Lauscha Fiber International announced it plans to launch a 10M Euros fibre glass plant in Russia's Vladimir Region before the end of 2006. Lauscha Fiber International is building its first Russian plant using the facilities of bankrupt Sudogodskoye Steklo, which it bought for 600,000 Euros in May 2006. The plant will produce extra thin fibre glass for accumulator batteries and filter materials and will initially have a capacity of 2,000/tpa. Lauscha Fiber has 35 plants in Europe that produce extra thin fibre glass.
