The Largest Float Glass Plant In The World

The worlds largest float-glass plant, having two float lines, was dedicated in October 1970 in Meadville, Pa., by PPG industries. The plant contains 8000000ft2 of manufacturing and floor space, emplys 550 people and expected production in excess of 100 millionft2 per annum mainly for the automotive industry.
