Laminating Glass Recovery

South African company, PFG has developed a laminating glass recovery plant that recovers 90% of the glass used in windscreens. The company is recovering several tonnes each day, which it is returning to its furnace. In a statement, PFG says that the recovery is important as it leads to less landfill and a more efficient use of materials. Laminate recovery gives cost-saving and environmental benefits at the site, which was originally developed by Pilkington over 50 years ago. (whole item)
