Lacquer Process For Glass Vials Developed

Italian glassmaker Bormili Luigi has developed a lacquer formula suitable for the inner coating of vials. The coating is appropriate for prolonged contact with alcoholic fragrances. It is an "Inside" process that will see light once Bormioli Luigi inaugurates its decoration facility in Parma, Italy. Compared to traditional lacquering, which coats the outside of vials, this process highlights the depth, shine and thickness effects of the glass, which creates life-like 3D effects.
