[Labels] Label Firms Face A Rough Ride As Prices Soar

Self-adhesive label manufacturers are feeling the heat. Raw material prices are at an all-time high and, until recently, demand for labels had hit a downward trajectory. Indeed, the administration in April of the UK's oldest label printer, Sessions of York, was directly blamed on rising paper prices. After a global recession, an earthquake in Chile and strikes at mills In Scandinavia, paper prices have spiralled to an all-time high.
