Krosno - Net Profit Down

Polish glassmaker, Krosnienski Huty Szkla SA (Krosno) recorded a fall in its earnings for the seven months ended July 1997. From a net profit of Zl 6.76m on net sales of Zl 105.38m for the first seven months of 1996, this figure fell to a Zl 4.72m pforit on higher sales of Zl 109.06m in the first seven months of this year. For the sole month of July, from a net profit of Zl 500,000 on sales of Zl 14.41m in 1996, profit decreased in 1997 to Zl 440,000 on sales of Zl 16.39m.
