Knauf Unveils First Turkish Factory

Knauf Insulation officially opened its first factory in Turkey recently. The plant, located in the province of Eskisehir, employs 110 people and has an annual production capacity of 45,000/tpa. The plant in Turkey was first bought in 2010. Since then, Knauf has completely redesigned and implemented new technology, providing a model of sustainable production. The Turkish construction market from year to year, shows growth and in 2013, a positive trend was seen, up 5% compared to figures for 2012. For this reason, Knauf introduced the production of mineral wool production by ECOSE Technology. Knauf sees promising business opportunities both in Turkey and neighbouring countries.
