Keeping An Eye On The Furnace

Measurement Systems has recently launched an upgraded version of its Orchestrator software system, first introduced in 1994. Version 1.3 of the package includes a range of extra facilities designed to allow users remote access to furnace and production data in real time. Microprocessor based systems are now used by many glassmakers enabling them to keep accurate control of their furnaces. Chart recorders of SCADA software are widely used for keeping records of their production. Orchestrator runs on a standard PC and provides an accurate record of all process conditions.
